We're Proud to be Recognized in our Communities

We find no greater pleasure than to help represent and promote the beautiful communities in which we've built homes for so long. Below are links to some wonderful articles highlighting the passion and commitment we put into every home we build — the Marvin Homes difference.

All About the View

When homeowners Kevin and Pam Kollmann wanted to design their dream home, they came to Marvin homes. This is the third home we have built for this family, as well as one for Kevin’s parents.

The home opens onto the covered lanai, the zero-edge pool with its fountain, the boat docks, and beyond the canal, the Caloosahatchee River beyond.

Where Friends Turn Into Family

This rural Alva home showcases the stunning riverbank vista with sliding glass doors that span from kitchen nook to the living room. The 3,700 square-foot coastal craftsman home was modeled loosely after Marvin’s Captiva Model at Naples Reserve.  We worked with the owners to customize this open-plan home with all the features and comforts of a modern masterpiece, but the character of an old house.

Fun & Funky

The Funky Fish House neighborhood in Cape Harbour was fashioned after the historic Fish Houses from long ago days in Pine Island Sound. Set in a resort-like setting, the Fish Houses are built on and over the water’s edge. The upper decks can be as high as 20’ above the water and extend over the water as much as 17’. Just like the old Fish Houses, boats can be parked next to or under the houses.

The open floor plan of this home showcases canal views from sliding glass doors in the family room that lead to a wide terrace that hangs over the canal. Since the homeowners own 25 feet into the water, the builder can create this rare deck.
