Marvin Development Corp is a Fort Myers Florida based home building company and has built over 3500 homes in cities such as Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs, Golden Gate Estates, and Ft. Myers. Marvin Homes has also built in fine southwest Florida communities such as the Wildcat Run, Spanish Wells, the Veranda, Caloosa Preserve, the Rookery, Bonita Springs Country Club, Longshore Lakes, Pine Shadows Air Park, Imperial Golf Estates, St. Charles Harbour, and Gulf Harbour, and the Brooks.

Marvin Development is a firm believer in energy-savings construction. Our commitment to building energy efficient homes has spanned over two decades and made us the largest producer of energy efficient homes in Southwest Florida. This was the first award received from Lee County Electric Cooperative upon the completion of our 100th "Good Cents" home. The picture is from the early 1980's. "Good Cents" homes are built in LCEC's service area and are inspected and certified by the electric company. This is in addition to inspections performed by the appropriate building department. One of the main reasons for the success of Marvin Development is that we use the "think things through" approach to building. We feel that even the smallest details are important. For example, we terminate the icemaker line under the kitchen sink. This allows our customers to add a filter under the sink that not only filters the tap water, but the water that goes to the icemaker as well. We use products based on their durability, strength, and their effect on the environment. And just as important, living in Florida, the effect the environment has on the materials we use. Another reason for our success is our follow through and warranty programs. In 1988 we were selected by Home Buyers Warranty Corp. as a "Diamond Builder." We earned this prestigious award based in part on our customer satisfaction record.
